Ride to Twin Peaks

11/24/2014

Twin Peaks is the highest hill in SF.  Some parts of the ride are more steep than others, but it's a good workout and the view of the city from up there is beautiful !

Route option from the Castro:
From Market St, Turn right on Ord St, Left on Corbett Ave, Right on Clayton, Left on Twin Peaks Blvd, and just keep climbing up till you get to the top! Yay!

The ride up hill takes about 20 mins.

Elevation: 922 ft (281 m)

34-mile training ride in the East Bay

11/17/2014

Another awesome training ride this past weekend! Started at Sports Basement in Berkeley, passed through Oakland all the way to the end of the Bay Bridge Trail and back to Sports Basement.

I was sick, but that didn't stop me from riding and having a fun ride with nice peeps!

Thanks to all the supporters I've raised 20% of my goal so far !

PS: Your donations go directly to the organization and are tax deductible.

    Hello!

From May 31st thru June 6th I’ll be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile (877 Kms) bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

I chose to participate to support the cause and also because I am inspired by the physical challenge!

AIDS Life Cycle funds life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center, in the fight to end HIV/AIDS. While these foundations have a local emphasis, they also support the fight against AIDS on a national level through prevention, education and medical assistance.

This bike ride means the world to those who receive treatment as a result of this event, so your donation is very important! Give what you can, any amount will make a DIFFERENCE!

Thank you for joining me in this cause! :)

    Sincerely,

    Renata
